He grew up in the AAU circuit and began his journey with SOPAC, where his passion for the game first developed.

Head coach of the 14U Red and 14U Black (Gold Level) teams. With nearly 10 years in the SOPAC program, Ruben Ortega is one of the winningest coaches in the organization's history. He has guided teams to consistent success on the AAU circuit. His high school coaching experience includes Heritage High School and Liberty High School.

Head coach of the West Valley High School boys basketball program. Kris has been a key part of the SOPAC program for the past six years and will lead SOPAC's high school teams during the off-season. Kris is a behavioral counselor at Diamond Valley Middle School in Hemet. A West Valley alumnus, Kris was standout varsity player and helped capture the 2008 CIF Championship. He continued his career at Clark University, later playing professionally overseas before returning home to coach and mentor the next generation.

Coach Cisco leads SOPAC's 12U and 13U boys teams and brings over 10 years of AAU coaching experience to the program. he previously served as Assistant Varsity Coach at Heritage High School. A former standout player at Sweetwater High School in San Diego, Cisco continues to use his knowledge and experience to develop young athletes on and off the court.
